New Research Initiatives & Students
The Foundation is keen to consider all kinds of requests for collaboration in Spinal Cord Injury research. For those who are
seeking support the Foundation has the following procedures in place:
1.
For an initial expression of interest, please send enter the project title and a project summary (350 words) here.
2.
All expressions of interest will be discussed by the Trustees on a bi-monthly basis.
3.
When considered to be in line with the Foundation’s remit, applicants will be invited to complete and submit a
‘Research Support Application Form’.
4.
The application form will be assessed using a standardised ‘Peer Review Form’ by both Trustees and independent
external experts, after which applicants will be informed about the outcome.
We also invite home-based and overseas students to approach us and discuss opportunities to conduct SCI research. For all
research related correspondence, please contact Dr van Middendorp.
